A delegation of 27 prominent enterprises from Shanxi province is attending the 10th China-Russia Expo in Harbin from May 17 to 21, highlighting the province's opening-up and deepening Sino-Russian economic and trade cooperation.

The China-Russia Expo serves as a crucial national platform for cooperation between the two countries. Shanxi's exhibition hall, centered on the core theme of "opening-up", is divided into five sections, offering a comprehensive view of Shanxi's industrial prowess.

The "Shanxi Taste Selection" section features iconic agricultural products, including Pingyao beef, selenium-rich millet, and Yulu fragrant pears. The "Smart Manufacturing" section showcases the transformative achievements of Shanxi's manufacturing sector, featuring leading companies such as SkySea Pumps and DaviLaser. 

"Shanxi Alcohol" highlights fenjiu (a kind of baijiu produced in Fenyang) and other aromatic liquors and brewing products. The "Shanxi  Organic" section presents sea buckthorn products and fresh lamb, emphasizing the unique and superior qualities of Shanxi agriculture. The "Shanxi Gift" section offers exquisite craft products like Jingsha purple pottery and Dongke textiles, combining aesthetics with practical value.

The expo will host nearly 100 concurrent activities focusing on industrial collaboration, investment promotion, international cooperation, and tourism consumption. The Shanxi delegation is also actively participating in various matchmaking events to help enterprises connect with Russian market resources and achieve precise alignment of supply and demand.

A representative from the Shanxi Provincial Department of Commerce stated that Shanxi is using this expo as an opportunity to integrate into the broader Sino-Russian cooperative framework, to deepen economic and cultural exchanges, and to share development opportunities with the world.
